Sporting Activities

The Club has a very active membership and we play in a number of competitions within the Club and inter club locally and nationally.

Rotary Walk 19th July

6 members and partners met at Rothiemurcus Visitor Centre for the Rotary walk. From there we moved cars to the start point at Feshiebridge and also to the finishing point at Loch Morlich.

This left us with a delightful 8 mile walk through the pine woods past Loch an Eilein and then with open views to the Cairngorms. The weather held up nicely throughout and with only a few midgies to bother us.

Afterwards we repaired to the Bridge Inn at Aviemore to quench our thirsts with some local ale.

Thanks are due to Peter MacDonald who organised the day and guided us expertly through a maze of pathways.
