Collection for Somerset Flood Victims raises £2000

The Rotary Clubs of Frome and Frome Selwood collected money in The Market Place, Frome on Saturday 15th February for the victims of the floods in Somerset.

All donations are for a "Rotary in Somerset Appeal Fund" which will then be used to support those in need and the clean-up/ recovery.

Rotary in Somerset is part of the Emergency Voluntary Agencies Group which is managed by the Civil Contingencies Unit of Somerset County Council. They have been working hard on the variety of tasks thrown up by the flooding crisis.

Thanks to the generosity of the Frome people for their donations.

Those wanting to donate but not in Frome on Saturday may send donations to the club at :
