Cornwall Coast 2014
Photographs of the event held by Wadebridge Rotary Club in April
Wadebridge Rotary Club staged an exciting new venture at the Royal Cornwall Show Ground on April 12th and 13th: a Marine and Leisure Event for North Cornwall, to attract related businesses, marine enthusiasts and the public. On Saturday a Boat Jumble was held together with the main exhibits under cover, whilst Sunday was in the main exhibition hall.
This was a completely new project for the Club and was organised by club members, Brian Budden, Keith Snelling and John Pomeroy and a small committee. Much preparation was needed beforehand to inform and attract interested parties to take part and some 50 trade stands and charitable groups had a display.
The photographs (taken by Jane Pickles) give some idea of the displays and the Club is grateful to those who took part. It is hoped that this could become an established event for North Cornwall, similar to the Club's annual WADEBRIDGE WHEELS car and motor cycle display held every July and which is now in its 18th year.
