Ken Thomson advises us about the Inverclyde News

Ken Thomson & President Norman Pettigrew

Ken Thomson a founder member of the Rotary Club of Gourock, past President of the Club, Paul Harris Fellow and currently an Honorary Member was our speaker this evening. Ken recalled his early days as a journalist for the Daily Record in 1947 then after his National Service he worked for the Glasgow Evening News then on to be Editor of the Greenock Telegraph.  Ken has been retired for 15 years but retains a strong interest in journalism.
