On Tuesday May 20th 2014 the members of the Rotary Club of Denbigh recognised three individuals and a village hall committee by presenting them with a Rotary Community Service Recognition Award certificate.
Members of Rotary International works for the benefit of communities both at home and overseas and are alwayskeen to recognise non-Rotarians who also work for the benefit of their communities.
The certificates were presented to John Geraint Jones, treasurer, and John and Nerys Davies, joint secretaries, of the Denbigh town National Eisteddfod Fund Raising committee for the National Eisteddfod, which was held in Denbigh in 2013. They worked tirelessly over a period of two years to coordinate all the activities that saw Denbigh reach and then exceed its target of
