What we do
Service Before Self
HEBRC meet on Tuesdays at The Botley Park Hotel, Botley, SO32 2UA, Tel. 0844 879 9034. On the first three Tuesdays of the month we meet for breakfast at 07:00 a.m. for 07:15 a.m. On the fourth Tuesday we meet for dinner at the same venue at 7:00 p.m. for 7:15. If there is a fifth Tuesday, we organise a different event - a social gathering without specific Rotary business, perhaps a visit to a place of general interest.
At HEBRC we run a number of regular fund raising events, along with other events aimed at supporting the local community and humanitarian causes throughout the world, such as End Polio Now, ad provision of a solar powered fridge for medicines in Mali (in conjunction with our friends in the Rotary Club of Nantes Dobree).
HEBRC is a Registered U.K. Charity (Charity Commission Number 1125944)
Our main fund raising has been through collecting outside a major local supermarket and parading the residential areas of Hedge End with our Carol Float.; an annual evening "event" at Exbury Gardens, near Beaulieu; regular Golf Days; an annual rally for classic and modern motor cycles. see http://www.hedgeendrotarybikerun.co.uk : Jazz on the Solent and several smaller events.
