About Redcar Rotary Club

We are a well established club, being inaugurated in 1946.

WHO WE ARE :

Local people with various experience in local business, industry and government and a part of the worldwide Rotary International.

WHAT WE DO :

Meet on Mondays for food and fellowship, support local groups, schools and colleges and raise funds for local and international charities.

WHY WE DO IT :

To make a difference in our community by working together for Rotary's ideal of "Service Above Self"

HOW WE DO IT :

  • We supply dictionaries to a number of local primary schools
  • We respond to appeals for help from local individuals and organisations
  • We host a party of children from Chernobyl every year
  • We run the Boxing Day Dip in support of many charities
  • We organise an annual Sponsored Walk in aid of charity
  • We take the whole of Kirkleatham School on a KIDS OUT day to Flamingoland every year
  • We have supported many local charities
