Club member, Stephen Sypula, attends the first Rotary GB&I Champions of Change ceremony

Stephen, one of twelve recipients from GB & Ireland, received his award from Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, accompanied by Rotary GB&I President Nan McCreadie and RI Director Mike Webb.

Afterwards Stephen joined Stephen McPartland (MP for Stevenage) and Past District Governor Sandy Aked-Walker at a reception at the Scottish Office. They heard from Nan McCreadie how Rotarians up and down the land are helping to improve lives through the many voluntary programmes they undertake.
