International convener Douglas Dow reported on progress with organising the bookstall in Colquhoun Square on Saturday from 9am-3pm. More volunteer helpers would be welcome, and Alastair Wilson said that the weather forecast for the day was good.
The president advised that the Garelochside club meeting in the Rosslea Hall Hotel, Rhu, on Monday September 29 at 6.30pm would include a presentation by the two boys from Garelochhead's Route 81 Youth Project who had attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards camp at Auchengillan last month, one sponsored by each club.
It is hoped that more members will put their names down for the annual Six Clubs Dinner at Cairndow Inn on Wednesday September 10 at 7 for 7.30pm.
Adam Muggoch made the weekly draw for a whisky miniature, and drew out his own name. He joins the IOU list to receive their prizes from Derek Hall on his return from holiday.
