President Bill Deans welcomed twelve other members, said that he had attended the District 1230 Assembly the previous Wednesday, and urged those members who had not yet paid their subscriptions to do so as soon as possible to treasurer Lesley Kennedy. He said that numbers attending the forthcoming Six Clubs Dinner at Cairndow would need to be known by the weekend, and asked anyone who had not yet signed up to contact him.
He reminded members that the student from Garelochhead's Route 81 Youth Project who was sponsored by the club to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards camp at Auchengillan in July would be giving a report at the meeting of the Helensburgh Garelochside club at the Rosslea Hall Hotel, Rhu, on Monday September 23, and urged members to attend.
