Senior vice-president Lesley Kennedy was in the chair for the first time, and welcomed eleven other club members. The secretary read the minutes of the first ever Club Board Meeting, following the recent change from Club Council.
The secretary reported that he had received an email from visiting member Brenda Steele,who is currently living in Florida and working for the U.S.Navy. She and her husband Stuart hope to return to Scotland in October when he will be based in Arbroath and she plans visits to Cove to refurbish her house there. She sent greetings to members, and hopes to visit the club in the weeks ahead.
The secretary advised that president Bill had been approached by Yacht Club secretary Chris Roddis who had indicated that the current weekly room and lunch charge of
