During our 50+ year history, Torrington Rotary has supported our young in various ways...
* Rotary Competitions such as Young Chef, Young Photographer, Young Musician etc.
* Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) is a week-long residential course led by professional trainers to help youngsters develop leadership skills through various outdoor activities PHOTO - Rees Parkhouse, our RYLA 2023 recipient, gets his certificate from Andy Hill.
* Through donations from our Charitable account to various organisations, such as Children's Hospice Southwest, Share Music Southwest, the Calvert Trust, Children's Holiday Foundation and Appledore Book Festival, to name just a few.
* Through various co-operative projects with local groups and organisations such as The Plough and in our local schools.
If you know of a project or organisation that benefits young people, and which Rotary might help, please contact Andrew Hill andrew.hill60@hotmail.com
