Digi-Pi finish 3rd in National Final

As if to mark the 300th anniversary of the schools formation which hapenned today (3rd July 2014) 'Digi-Pi' from Nelson Tomlinson School, Wigton achieve a fantastic third place at the finals of the Young Enterprise Company Program. 

Each year members of our club act as judges for the North Cumbria Board, of which 2 board members are Rotarians. 

The team was one of 14 regional finalists who met in London to see who would represent the UK in Amsterdam. Each region has up to 100 teams competing overall so Digi-Pi came third from a possible 1400 teams nationwide. A stunning effort.
