Carefully chosen puppies are trained so that they can become "canine partners" and assist people with physical disabilities.
After basic training, a specific number of dogs are introduced to a matching number of human partners. Each dog chooses "their" human. Experience shows that this is the best way.
Over a two-week residential course, each pair (dog and human) is helped and coached to tailor the skills of the dog to match the needs of his or her partner.
Each dog is trained for to bring greater independence and a better quality of life to disabled people.
