22 Rotarians and partners visited the BBC studios at Media City Salford Quays.
A very enjoyable afternoon. As we were shown the 6 Music Radio studios, Stuart Maconie had to squeeze past us in the green room to get a drink. We were  taken up the stairs to the CBBC studio where Blue Peter is produced, then past the queue of hopeful contestants waiting for their auditions for The Voice, before finally going through the BBC Sports area to the Breakfast and local news studio - complete with the famous red sofa.
The trip ending with some time in the mock studio where Geoff Bigg presented the weather and Doug Cottrell and Chris Theckston did a sterling job on the Red Sofa!

The afternoon was rounded off with a meal at the nearby Prezzo whilst we waited for the Manchester Rush Hour to end.

Our thanks to the two guides Verity and Sarah for an informative and fun afternoon.
