Santa and his Elves around Fleet this Christmas
Fleet Rotarys 2014 Christmas collections support local charities
Once again the local community have given wonderful support to Fleet Rotarys Christmas collections with 8305 being donated to assist good causes
The total collected by Fleet Rotary was 10315 which included the Fleet's Gala Evening and our charity night at The Golden Triangle etc.
Fleet Rotary President, Peter Vincent, said All club members feel that their collection efforts in cold and sometimes damp conditions are really worthwhile thanks to the local community and their splendid support. It is great that our Christmas Tableau was once again greeted with enthusiasm by many families. The total we received was several hundred pounds more than last year. Our supporters might like to know that donations totalling 3000 have already been made to the following local causes: Hart First Responders, Yateley Industries, Sebastian Action Trust and The National Autistic Society. We also helped Fleet Sainsburys raise over 540 for Chloe and Sophies Special Ears Fund

"Just wanted to say thank you to the lovely Santa Claus who came to my street today. It's a lovely thing to do. Took the time to speak to my little ones and have pictures taken - you made their day!"
