Planting Crocuses

To celebrate World Polio Day members went along to Midmill School to help the pupils to plant crocuses

After  contacting the new Head Teacher of Midmill School who agreed that the puils would plant 3500 crocuses,  members went along. Alistair, Gordon Henry, Jim T , Jim W, dug out a strip of grass folding it over. The pupils then came out in warm clothing and the members made rows so that the pupils placed 6 crocuses in each row. When they were finished the members rolled back the grass! "Simples!!!"
