Lunch time meeting held on 27th November 2014

On Thursday 27th November 2014 President Chris Grist welcomed 21 Club Rotarians, and guest speaker Frank Connolly to this lunch time meeting held at the Balbirnie Park Golf Club. Nine apologies for absence were received. On reception this week was Alan Strath who said grace, Gerald Cameron and John Ferris. Ian hastie advised that due to the Inner Wheel Christmas Party night being cancelled a few of the Rotarians who were intending going are going for a social meal at the Golf Club to which all are welcome. Ian also mentioned that the Clubs SGM will be held on 11th December 2014. Anne Sampson advised that the Young Chef competition had been held this morning Thursday 27th November at Glenwood High School with the winners from the 2 High Schools who participated, Auchmuty and Glenwood were in 1st place, Shannon West (Glenwood), 2nd, Caitlin Walder, (Glenwood),3rd, Adam Braid (Auchmuty).
