Kamla Mehta Dadar School for the Blind
160 Dadasaheb Phalke Road,
Dadar East,
Mumbai 400 014
India

The Club is supporting this school by sending a donation enabling them to purchase seven Braille machines, this school was founded 101 years ago, originally set up by an American Marathi Mission to serve the children blinded by the Sholapur famine at the turn of the century, it is now catering particularly for girls, and is foremost centre of education and rehabilitation.
We were visited in August 2015 by Rotarian Pia Bhagi from the Rotary Club of Bombay Central, who instigated the idea of providing Braille Machines to this school. The photo shows Rotarian Pia with President Senia, President Elect Deaba and P.P. Madhu Desai.
