87th Charter February 20th 2015

The 87th Charter Celebration Dinner took place on February 20th at The Oriel House Hotel in St Asaph.  President Brian welcomed 92 Rotarians and guests to the dinner.  The evening started with a number of songs from Lleisiau Menlli, a mixed choir of young people from the Vale of Clwyd conducted and trained by Mrs. Nia Wyn Jones.

Then followed the meal after which the principle guest speaker, District Judge James Heywood, entertained us with stories loosely (!) based on his life.  PDG Gerry Heaslip, representing DG Les, followed James.  Gerry had to miss our Charter when he was DG so this made up for it.

We congratulate President Brian for an exccellent charter celebration and thank all who helped to make it a success.
