The Rotary Club of Melksham has partnered with our Twinned Rotary Club in Guingamp, France in a project to improve conditions for communities in Senegal.  For the past 3 years, members of the Rotary Club of Guingamp have been going to Senegal and creating classrooms, drinking water wells and other local facilities.  This year we have committed to contribute over 10,000 towards the project as part of celebrating our 50th Birthday.

We will be holding our now annual concert with Stonar School on 6th May, plus a Big Breakfast in June (there will be more details to follow). We are intending to visit primary schools with information about life in Senegal as well as having a synchronised supper evening whereby food inspired by Senegal will be served to paying guests in members own homes.
