Lunch time meeting held on 26th March 2015

On Thursday 26th March 2015 President Chris Grist welcomed 28 Club Rotarians also guest speaker Dr Bob Grant to this lunch time meeting held at the Gilvenbank Hotel.
Two apologies for absence were received.
On reception this week was Edgar Shields who said grace, Geoff Sampson, Gerald Cameron and John Ferris.
President Chris Grist spoke again about the Rotary District Assembly being held in Aberdeen, the Cluny Clays Rotary Day and also the Ladies day in the Glen Pavilion to which all ladies were invited not just Rotarians.
Secretary Ian Hastie advised that the clubs AGM would take place in 3 weeks time on the 16th April 2015.
Julie MacDougall advised that The Primary School Quiz took place last night Wednesday on the 25th March 2015 at Auchmuty High School and for the second consecutive year Markinch Primary School picking up the trophy in a hotly contested competition.
Community Chair Anne Sampson mentioned that a Casino night would be organized on 10th April 2015 if sufficient numbers were interested. Andy Strachan also advised about the theatre trips.
