A Celebrity Lecture by Will Farmer of BBC's Antiques Roadshow at 7:30p.m. on 16th June 2015, Stourbridge Town Hall.

Will Farmer - Celebrity Lecturer

There will be a night of sparkling entertainment at Stourbridge Town Hall on 16th June when Will Farmer of the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow  and Fieldings Auctioneers presents a celebrity lecture, ‘Diamond Divas’.

Diamond Divas is a  walk through the private jewellery collections of H.M Queen Elizabeth II, Wallis Simpson and Elizabeth Taylor looking at key pieces and revealing the stories behind them.

Jewellery is a symbol of love, an expression of recognition and gratitude to someone you love. Dazzling diamonds have been collected by the rich and famous for centuries, with the glittering stones adorning every imaginable piece of jewellery from Imperial crowns to chandelier earrings.

The jewels featured in this Celebrity Lecture have adorned some of the most famous women in the world. From glittering red carpets to state occasions, jewellery has formed an integral part of our social vocabulary. Each piece revealing its own story, stories that are filled with intrigue, humour, conflict, but most often love!

Will Farmer is well known for his appearances as an expert on Antiques Roadshow over more than ten years and he has a passion for Twentieth Century design. Will’s lectures are always entertaining and full of interesting anecdotes, Diamond Divas will be no exception.

Tickets for the lecture which begins at 7:30 p.m. are £10 each and  available from Chris Fonteyn on 01384 376865.
