DUCK RACE

Sun, Sep 6th 2015 at 12:00 am -

Up to 1000 ducks compete to win their sponsors cash prizes.

The event was held on Sunday 6th Sept  -  excellent weather and lots of supporters attended to see the Grand Duck Race.  Rotary President Peter Robinson started the race withh almost 1000 ducks  - the winning ducks being caught by Rotarians, some almost swimming in the raging river, way beyond the call of duty.  Many children enjoyed themselves rescuing stranded ducks from the river after the event.
