The Royal British Legion

Jeffrey Long M.B.E amazed us with the story of his walk to Switzerland for the Royal British Legion.


Jeffrey also promoted his next fund raising appeal, "Battling on at 84".  Jeffrey is walking the 84 mile Hadrian's Wall with friends Alan Wanbon, Eric Ogden, our very own President Elect Gary Peacock and Victoria Harrison (Jeffrey's granddaughter). 

They are walking for the Royal British Legion because the "Battle Back" centres help our injured heroes.  Leaving on August 31st for a 6 day hike along the wall they will finish at Wallsend 5th September 2015.
