The Rotary Club of Llandudno  have once again partnered with the North Wales branch of the Chernobyl Lifeline charity, to provide children from Belarus with  a children's day out in Llandudno. Children who through this nuclear accident, have come into this world affected by the events at Chernobyl in terms of their health and longevity.

On Tuesday 21st July 13 young children from Chernoble and 2interpreters  were welcomed to Llandudno by the Mayor Cllr Frank Bradfield who took them on a tour of Llandudno Town Hall. Following the tour they  were  taken on the beautifully presented old rope tram cars up the Great Orme, visiting the Copper Mines on the way. On arriving at the summit they were given lunch in the cafe.

After lunch, the Tram brought them down to visit. Bonkerz Fun Centre, one of the premier indoor soft play facilities in North Wales

Following a very energetic session there they were escorted to the Queens Hotel to enjoy a buffet with the Mayor and Rotary members who had organised this annual visit. The Llandudno Rotary Club would like to thank the Llandudno Town Mayor, The Great Orme Tram, the Copper Mines, the Summit Cafe, Bonkerz and especially the Queens Hotel for their generosity in entertaining the children.
