Rotary Cyclofun 2015

The good weather prompted a good turnout for the North Fife's Rotary Cyclofun event. Thanks for all the donations at our event and congratulations to Rotary Club Cupar cyclists who also raised £1700 through their 24 hour cycle ride on the Saturday evening and then came along to help out on the Sunday! 

Lots of visitors hadn't appreciated what a great location Tentsmuir provides for family cycle rides, so in addition to raising money for a good cause it was also a great way to promote the area too. Many enjoyed it so much they were already asking as they were leaving if we'd be doing it next year so they could bring along their friends. 

However, best to let all our hard-working organisers recover from this year first before considering that possibility! Besides our own club's Martin Hepworth and Tony Turvey (who between them did the lion's share of work for RC North Fife) special thanks must also go to all the other local Rotary Clubs who worked with us to ensure such a great day. Not forgetting those who came along on the day to help - a list too long to include here, but without whom the event could not have happened. And, of course, not forgetting our generous sponsors NFU Mutual and Tayport Co-Operative. Thank you one and all for making it such a great day!
