The name ‘Style Acre’ comes from the name of the original residential care home in Brightwell-Cum-Sotwell. When the building was sold, we decided to keep the name for the newly established charity, as we were so well known locally.

Style Acre Friends was formed as a registered charity in 1992 by a group of parents who wanted to secure the future of the residential home where their adult children were living. They succeeded in raising the money to purchase the property and took over running the home in 1995

The Charity has changed considerably since those arly days as Christopher will explain during his visit.
