A seasonal message from PP Rev Bryan Tomlinson


The weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of Kirkcaldy was held on 22 December 2015 at the Dean Park Hotel. President John Kilgour welcomed 24 members of the Club.

Past President Rev Bryan Tomlinson said Grace, welcoming fellow Rotarians Bob Buchan and Ian Brown back to the Club after periods of illness. He also gave thanks that the Forth Road Bridge will open tomorrow.

President John advised that the Gow Cow was getting fairly full but a few members added to it in celebration of events for which they were grateful. President John advised that the Rotary Childrens' Party which was held on Saturday 19 December in the Templehall Community Centre was a great success.

President John advised that at the last Council meeting it was agreed that Past President Tom Muir should be given an Honorary membership which all members welcomed.

There followed a Quiz compiled by Bryan Tomlinson , which was won by Dallas Mechan whose retentive memory exceeded all others as the Quiz was the same as last year's.

The meeting was closed with the Club being advised that the next meeting will be held on 12 January 2016 at the Dean Park Hotel at the usual time of 12.30 for 12.45pm.
