We are planning our next Rotary walk in the Purbecks. As always, though for Nepal, I would be delighted to see as many club members as possible that would like to come.
Meet
at Kingston Car Park GR SY953795 at 1030. The walk of about 8 miles takes us to
Swyre Head ( Coffee Stop with views of St Aldhelms Head and Kimmeridge Bay) and
onto our lunch stop on Steeple Hill (views of East Creech hill and Poole
Harbour).
Drop down past the church at Church Knowle and make our way back to Kingston
via the interesting farm at Blashenwell.
Kingston can be found by passing Corfe Castle, just through the village of Corfe on the way to Swanage turn right on the B3069 to Kingston. At the village turn right by the Scott Arms and then right fork leaving the church on your left side. There is a car park approximately 300 metres after the church on the left in the trees.
Everyone is welcome for nibbles drinks etc. afterwards at Richards at 1 Waterworks Cottages, Sutton Poyntz.
Due to the distance to drive it would be sensible to reduce the number of cars and share lifts.
At present Auntie is giving 18 degrees and sunny intervals
