Lunchtime Meeting - 12.45pm - Speaker Mr Graham Kyle

Mon, Apr 25th 2016 at 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Today's speaker will be Mr Graham Kyle

Robin Sinclair welcomes the return of Mr Graham Kyle, Retired Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, who was his guest speaker in June 2015.  Since then Graham has passed the diploma in the History of Medicine from the Society of Apothecaries, and can now (with some pride) add DHMSA to his post-nomials

Graham has an interest in Medical Relief under the Victorian Poor Law and the research at Llanfyllin Work House and will speak to our Club on "The Poor Law Medical Officer" which he hopes will be an interesting and, hopefully, entertaining topic

If you have been inspired by Graham's talk to find out more about the Victorian Workhouse at Llanfyllin then please follow the links below and visit them at the opening of their History Centre on 14th & 15th May.
