2015 Kid's Out to Colchester Zoo

photos from the day at Colchester Zoo.

During July two Rotarians, accompanied a teacher and staff from St. Gregory CEVCP School, took 19 special needs children to Colchester Zoo.

What a wonderful day we had! The children were so excited to see all the animals and they were even able to handle some of the large insects and feed nectar to some of the free flying birds in the bird house. The highlight of the day was a ride on the zoo train to see the wolves, flamingos and lions.

On the journey home in the school buses, all the children fell asleep - definitely the hallmark of a successful outing!
