A warm welcome offered
At our on the 29th September meeting, we welcomed Rotarians Roger and Diana White from District 7020, located in the Caribbean.
Roger is a member, and Past President, of the Rotary Club of St. Thomas, an Rotary Leadership Institute Discussion Leader, Past Chair of the District 7020 Haiti Task Force. He is Chair of the District 7020 Foundation Audit and Stewardship Committee and a member of the Technical Cadre of Reviewers of the Rotary Foundation. He was recently appointed one of the Managers of the Rotary Jaipur Limb Project and is currently exploring the possibility of establishing a RJLP clinic in Jamacia.
Diana is a Past Governor of District 7020 (2010-2011) and currently serves as the District 7020 representative on Zone 34 RI Directors Advisory Committee, a District Chair for District 7020, a member of the Rotary Leadership Institute International Online Learning Pilot Committee and Club Treasurer for the Rotary E-Club of the Caribbean, 7020.
Her past appointments include, Chair of the RI Committee on New Generations, Assistant Rotary Coordinator for Zone 34, Trainer for DGN's at Zone 33-34 Institute and District Trainer and RLI Director for District 7020.
Diana was presented with the Rotary International "Service Above Self" award in 2014 and Paul Harris Fellowship by District 7020 in 2007. Diana and and Roger were both presented with Paul Harris Fellowships by the Rotary Club of St. Thomas and are major donors to the Rotary Foundation and Bequest Society members.
They have been actively been involved in projects in Haiti and Uganda.
