Annual Charity Walk 2016

Sun, Apr 24th 2016 at 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Our annual charity walk will start from Ampthill Town FC in Ampthill Park

Our annual sponsored walk event starting from the Ampthill Football Club in Ampthill Park

This year we are offering a choice of routes. You set your own challenge -

  • a stroll around the park of 1.5 miles,
  • a longer walk that leaves the park towards Maulden along the Greensand Ridge and back into Ampthill Park through Holly Walk. That's 4.5 miles.
  • Or you can add in a couple of extra loops to extend the walk to 9 miles.
  • And if you want to join in, but a walk over fields and hills is too much fo your pushchair or wheelchair, then why not take off along the new tarmac path between the 2 car parks and back again!
So, make your own challenge but let us know which route you are following. You can do this on the sponsorship form which you'll find here.

Four Easy Steps to join in the fun:

  1. Collect your sponsorship form and start collecting sponsors
  2. Turn up at Ampthill Football Club on Sunday 24 April, any time between 9.30 and 11 am.
  3. Complete your walk
  4. Hand in the money you have collected, on the day if you can.

The same rules apply to sponsorship money as in previous years. You keep the first £25 you raise. After that you keep 50% and we use the other 50% towards Rotary local charities and Keech Hospice which is our President Trevor Nash's chosen charity.

Look forward to seeing you on the day!
