Vandals fail to fox Rotary !

Unfortunately the local foxes managed to rip the pond liner that we had put in so it was back to the drawing board in November.

Although the destruction of the pond liner was a setback both financially and in time a working party soon drained the pond and installed a new liner.  This time we firmly anchored the edges with the ragstone kindly donated by Gallaghers to prevent the foxes attacking the butyl rubber!

Further good progress was made during November with the edging brick walls  to the path completed courtesy of the very generous Waller Builders.  With winter fast approaching we also managed to negotiate some labour from our kind friends Baylis Landscapes and got the path base finished and the pavior edges cemented in place.

We hope to complete the laying of the path before any really bad weather sets in and as soon as we have raised some more money we will finish it all off in the Spring.
