Betton Farm nestles in a hollow two miles inland from Scarborough, fringed by the forests and moorland of North Yorkshire. To the south lies the great flat valley of Ryedale famed for its vista of big skies, and beyond, the distant escarpment of the Wolds. 

Betton Farm is owned and run by Basics Plus, a registered charity and social enterprise providing employment opportunities for people with learning difficulties in the Scarborough area. Basics Plus acquired the Farm in 2010 and are busy upgrading the farm, adding additional facilities and amenities while retaining  the attractions for which Betton has become a popular visitor destination.
