The annual lights switch on and Christmas Fair is the perfect time for Rotarians to engage with the public and get into the Christmas spirit in their High Visibility Vests!
Mulled wine, hot dogs and mince pies were on sale plus a “board and dice” game where the prizes were chocolates donated by Club members; this was terrific fun and made good profits.
Special mention should go to John Wood who soldiered on despite having 3 very sore fingers. Financially we made a profit of £350 which could rise to £400 after the raffle of surplus chocolates.
