We Are For Communities

Since 1954 we have provided support for our local community in many ways.

From small acorns, largew oak trees grow.

Amongst other things we have helped many people and organisatons They have included:

The Queens Jubillee Year is celebrated with a major tree planting project across the UK. Local farmer,  Richatd Lockett is a keen environmentalist and has generously donated large areas of land to allow the local community to plant a Communith Woodland. The planting will take place over many months but it also intersects with the Queen's Green Camopy.  Dingwall Rotary Club, represented by its 2022 President planted two oak saplings withing the Community Woodland Area in support of both these ventures.

The Scouts, Guides and Brownies have been supported in many ways. These include the provision of equipment and support for attendees at the various  conventions.

We have supported a number of primary schools to allow them to attend weekends at adventure camps. We organise and manage cycling courses at Dingwall Primary School. Ben Wyvis Primary school received a donation to allow them to purchase a poly-tunnel to grow their plants from seed.

The Dingwall Drop-in cafe was also a beneficiary and it enabled them to have an adventure weekend for eleven young people.

We have provided picnic tables and benches for the Victorian station at Strathpeffer and for the open area at Dingwall Ferry Point.

Very many young people have been able to take educational journeys abroad to learn, to teach and to provide many other forms of aid in third world countries.
