For the first time the Llandudno Rotary Club ran a Christmas card competition for local primary schools. President Alan Guinn visited all the schools that were invited to compete.
The winners were Ysgol San Sior and received £100 for their arts department. The creator of the card received £20 and it is being displayed by her class. The runners up were Millie from Ysgol Craig-y-don showing her entry and Leighton from Ysgol Fford Dyffrin was the creator of the other winning card. Each of the runners up receives £25 for their art departments and each pupil £5
Judging was immensely difficult because of the vast number of entries and it is therefore possible that this competition will became an annual event
