Invicta and The Rotary Foundation

Our club contributes to both the Rotary Foundation Annual Fund and the Rotary Foundation Polioplus Fund each year.

In return, we benefited from a Rotary Foundation matching grant in 2005 for the purchase of mosquito nets to combat malarial infections. We visited our partner, the Rotary Club of Guwahti East in India, and distribute mosquito nets to a village in Assam.

Locally, we have benefitted from District Grants which have enabled us to:

  • purchase musical instruments for the New House Youth Centre
  • help build a sensory garden for the Orchard Centre
  • provide two bench seats for Milton Creek Country Park
  • provide a new cooking range at Phoenix House
