Fri 18th March 2016 at 09.00 - 16.00

The "Rotary Technology Tournament", or, RIBI Technology Tournament, as it is now known, is one of some seven separate national "Youth Competitions" for young people.

Although this is a national event, the various stages are organised at District level by local clubs for local students and has now been accredited by the British Science Association to CREST Discovery Awards standard.

This year, Cartmel Priory Church of England School is entering a “Key Stage Three” team of four students in the local stage event, which, will be held at the Castle Green Hotel, Kendal, one of various events throughout Cumbria and Lancashire, on the 18th March 2016. Our club has not been involved in organising the event this year but we are supporting the school's students and our President Rtn. Mrs. Helen Frain-Kaye together with the Chair of our Youth Committee, Rtn.John Biddlestone, committee member Rtn.Ken Thompson together with the Chair of our Social Programme & Publicity Committee, Rtn. John Kaye, will attend the event at some time during the day.
