CLUB RECOGNISES EXTRAORDINARY CONTRIBUTION TO ROTARY AIMS

The Rotary Club of Bassenthwaite has presented a Paul Harris Fellowship award to Rotarian and past District Governor Albert Johnson in recognition of his tireless and imaginative contribution to Rotary.

The photograph shows a surprised Albert receiving his award from District 1190 Governor Arthur Jones, watched by Club President John Inman.

Since joining the club a little less than two years ago Albert has given up much of his time

in a wide variety of ways including drawing in funds for donation to charities, whilst also

supporting Rotary administration with involvement in organisation of events and

promoting knowledge.

These activities include the Human Fruit Machine, World Cup Rugby draw ,

Annual conference organisation to mention but a few of his activities - well done and thank you Albert!
