Porsche On The Prom - Weymouth Esplanade

Raising money for the Dorset Air Ambulance (charity number 1078685). They need 15 (or as many as we can manage) volunteers to help guide and marshall the event.

This event is being organised by Portland resident Paul Butcher, as a member of region R26 of "Porsche Club Great Britain" {= Gmünd Heritage Limited, a limited company, registeration # 1536536}.

The event is to benefit the "Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance" (charity number 1078685).

It will also benefit Weymouth in tourism terms (with a similar annual event in LLandudno bringing an estimated £25k to the area, see https://www.porscheclubgb.com/regions-registers/regions/west-midlands/west-midlands/events/2016/may/llandudno-weekend)

There is also the option to do some fundraising for ourselves if we choose + have enough helpers to "shake a bucket" (we would need our own street collection license).

The organiser has also approached the Portland Sea Cadets for their assistance, but has so far had no luck with other Rotary Clubs / Lions in our area.
