I’m passionate about helping people lead a fit and healthy life and have the energy and confidence to go after everything they dream of, often achieving things they previously didn’t think possible.
I played football with friends growing up but it wasn’t until I experienced a back problem in the late 90’s that I decided to exercise more. I suffered from muscle spasms, was signed off work and I needed a goal to get fit as I didn’t want to go through life with a back problem as my mum had and so I entered the London Marathon! I managed to get in first time and that pushed me into exercising regularly. I got round it and my life changed the moment I crossed the finish line. I realised what I had just achieved and wanted to be able to inspire others to follow their dreams. A few months after that race, I signed up to study a Personal Trainer’s course.
A few years after that race, and getting some experience, I set up my Personal Training business in 2006 with the purpose of encouraging and inspiring people to dream big and work hard to become fitter and healthier. In 2012, I opened my own private Personal Training studio where I am able to coach and develop my clients more than I was able to do in the gym. I am now able to help my clients make positive changes so they can get the body they want without ever being on a diet.
