The winning team for the 2017 Senior competition - Royal Hospital School.


Ipswich High School for Girls hosted the Seniors Competition for this year’s Youth Speaks. Winners were Royal Hospital School on the subject of “Is technology moving too fast?”

Other schools competing were Ipswich High School for girls; Stoke High School; Suffolk One and Claydon High School. There was a diverse range of subjects covering “Banning music which glorifies the sexualisation of women”; “Is it right to abort for Down's Syndrome?”; “Education and funding of mental health”; and “Fast fashion and its environmental impact”.

Well done and many thanks to all who participated and congratulations to the winners who have progressed to the District Finals at Suffolk One on Saturday 25th February.
