We would like to hear from local charities that need help with fundraising
We are offering our expertise to charities that provide a benefit to the local community. On selected quiz nights all profits that are generated are given to a selected charity.
We have been running the "Great Brentwood Quiz" every month for many years. Our efforts have raised over £105,000 for rotary charitable giving.
We ask that you promote the event to your supporters and commit to providing at least three teams of 8 paying players. Teams and individuals are welcome. The more players you provide the greater the return to your funds. Take the opportunity to involve your retail and business contacts to promote the event and provide support for the raffle.
There will be an opportunity during the event to distribute leaflets, display banners, show a video and provide a short promotional talk.
Rotary Club Commitment
Rotary club members will run the quiz and provide prizes for the winners. We will promote the quiz to our regular players plus in the local press and social media. Provide an online registration form and promotional templates.
To promote your organisation's work and raise the profile of the Rotary within the community when using its expertise to provide "Service before Self".
This quiz would start 7.45pm and be held at the Courage Hall, Brentwood School, Middleton Hall Lane, Brentwood. Normally held on the last friday of every month. The venue is provided free of charge and has plenty of parking.
The cost of the evening for each participant is £8 per person; this includes a supper of jacket potato with a choice of fillings with a side salad.
All the Rotary club members look forward to working with you.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.
Brentwood School provides the hall free of charge and in return, we are not allowed to bring in any of your own food and drinks. Drinks and snacks can be purchased at the bar.
