Coach visit to Top Locks Beer Festival
As agreed at last night's meeting I have confirmed
a coach for the visit to Top Locks Beer Festival on the 6th
October leaving outside the Victoria in Rainhill at
7.00pm and returning around 10.00 pm ish. As this is a club
event the total cost of £290 will be met out of the members
account.
It is a 30 seater and as such I require all those
who wish to attend to reply to me by email on :- gordon@wglowe.co.uk ASAP.
For those who went last year it was a great
night and the opportunity to sample Phil's selection of beers for our
consideration for our own Beerfest. There is of course good food
available.
For those who were not able to attend last year
Phil's beerfest he has a good selection of around 60 beers and lagers which is
different to most beefests as it is held in his pub and adjacent building.
Phil is our main supplier for our Beer Festival event and his knowledge of new beers and contacts enables us to offer the latest beers at
our event which keeps our selection as good as ever.
