Exchange Link with Schouwen-Duiveland - History

Early in 2004, Esk Valley agreed a formal friendship link with the Rotary Club of Schouwen-Duiveland, which is in the south-west of the Netherlands. Four Dutch members visited Esk Valley  in January 2004, to discuss a visit to Midlothian by a large number of their members in May of that year.   A reciprocal visit to the Netherlands involving Esk Valley members was agreed to take place in the following year.
