Ely Aquafest 2024 - Sunday 7th July

The Rotary Clubs of Ely are getting prepared and excited about Aquafest on 7 July. We have been organising this year’s event since last October

It’s the biggest community event in Ely held on Lavender Green,  Jubilee Gardens and the River.

We have arena events – lots to entertain you. A range of stalls, selling food drinks and a lot more We have games to play, funfairs, a beer tent and, of course, we have the Raft Races.

This event has been held almost every year since 1978 and run entirely by the members of the Rotary Clubs of Ely. It is run on a tight budget (no entry charge) and we are very grateful to have the support of local businesses. The first Aquafest was held in 1978 as a Thank You to the wonderful people of Ely who help us with the Christmas collection and other fund raising events.  Of course, Aquafest has grown since then.

The Rotary Clubs of Ely cannot do it without you.

We need more rafts to enter the Raft Race, the river is ready, the timekeepers ready and everything is in place, but more rafts would be welcome. If you’ve had an entry form or are talking about it at your workplace – now is the time for action!

There s still time to book a stall – charity or business.

There is still time to sponsor this event – costs are always going up and this is a free entry event.

Most importantly we want you to come to Aquafest and enjoy an Ely tradition. We would love to see you there.
