GSE Visit
The GSE Team from District 9710 Australia will be our guests from Monday 3rd until Saturday 8th April 2006, a program has been planned which we hope will be supported by not only the host Rotarians but by all members of the Club.
Vocational visits for the Team have been arranged to such places as the Household Cavalry in Windsor, a show jumping stables in Sonning, Scotland Yard, and the Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority in London.
There will also be sightseeing trips to Windsor and London together with free time to help them appreciate the local area or maybe play a round of Golf.
During the week they will attend and present at two Rotary Meetings, our Club night on the Monday and a District Farewell Rally on the Friday evening.
We trust that we will have the full support of the Club and give the Team a very warm welcome to Maidenhead
The Snow Drop Walk
Over 30 members and partners took part in the Snow Drop walk on Sunday 5th February. On what turned out to be a beautiful day we walked from Burchetts Green over Ashley Hill via the Dew Drop Inn, where we lost two or three walkers, and back to where we started for an excellent lunch at Steve and Pat Harringtons, a big thank you to them both for their hospitality.
